Disable IR w/o switching to day vision DS-2CD3332-I (3mp turret)

Subject pretty well states the question. Is it possible? Under advanced configuration/system/service is a single check box "Enable IR Light". It doesn't seem to do anything - (un)checked the IRs stay on.

Using a separate IR illuminator, I'd like to still have the IR-cut filter in the night position, but the IR's turned off...

By cycling night/day/night, the IR change goes into effect. Perfect.

make sure its saving the change properly...it should stay off...try another browser.
