Disable live view but maintain recording

Hello! Does the inactive profile disable recording? I am trying to figure out how to disable live view, keep recording going, so that I can conserve resources while reviewing recorded footage. thanks!

when you are reviewing video live views is disabled anyway..you are viewing the recorded footage.
