I recently had a Dahua system setup in my house.

I'm having issues getting Intelligent Video on a handful of the cameras and the installer does not seem to be able to help. As a result, I'm not able to filter motion by human / vehicle.

Is there a setting on DMSS that i'm missing in the setup? It seems to work on one of the cameras, but not the others.

Thank you for the help!

Sounds like the alleged typical trunk slammer installer out there that only runs the wires, barely hangs up the camera, plugs it all in and calls it good, all at a premium costs for probably CCA wiring and inferior cameras that they overpriced.

Push the installer for a credit or fix it while we here get you going.

This is an easy fix for @bigredfish

Have you set the IVS rules on the camera GUI itself (Not the app)?

Are you sure the camera in question HAVE IVS with Human/Vehicle filters?

If so, show a pic of the IVS page on the camera GUI

Have you tested to be sure the IVS rules are tripping by watching the live feed on the NVR with IVS rules enabled?

Do you have IVS recording schedule and Mode set for those channels on the NVR?

If you are trying to do it all from the app you're SOL

Or that

Or you have a limit on the NVR/XVR as to how many channels can be enabled with IVS

Though I highly recommend turning OFF SMD if you are using it and instead use IVS
