Hello,

I'm wondering if
DS-2DE2202I-DE3/W support to be outside ?
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Hikvision-DS-2DE2202I-DE3-W-English-version-cctv-camera-POE-2MP-speed-dome-camera-EZVIZ-cloud/1187561_32381883104.htm

I know the difference between IP66 and IP54
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_Code
but don't you think it's possible ?

Here is where i plan to put it, under my gutter roof garage, so it would be "almost" protected by rain

As i have already place on opposed side garage a IP66 turret

Im crazy to do this ?

I personally prefer IP55 which is 100% fine for the UK.

However, seeing as it's sheltered I would say IP54 would be ok, especially as it's probably the top bit which is causing the IP54 rating and the bottom bit will be higher.

Should be fine, unless your area is prone to dust storms or you had the camera directly in a heavy, wind driven rain.

As Del has said it, should be OK. but use some silicone or mastic around the base, due to the lack of gaskets that gives it the IP54 splash only rating
