First off, thanks for taking the time to look at this and giving me your opinion. It is really important I get the proper setup or I will not get additional jobs through this company. I've setup a couple of personal Blue Iris installations, just some small ones with junk I've had laying around. I've been reading on here for a couple of weeks.

1 - Intel Core 6th Gen i6700 or 7th Gen i7700 processor (Optiplex or Elite most likely)
1 - 8GB+ Ram
1 - Windows 8/10 Pro
1 - HD for the OS
1 - 6TB HD Purple Drive for recordings

Make sure cpu has Intel HD Graphics with QuickSync Video, so I can enable hardware acceleration (H.264)
Set cameras to direct to disk
Run blue iris as a service
Set cameras to 15fps
Set live preview to 10fps

I am needing 7 inside cameras and 7 outside cameras. (Nightvision of course)
I see Dahua and Hikvision are the recommended ones.
Not needing any PTZ. Don't need audio.
Thinking 2MP would be fine, this is at a restaurant.
Wanting to keep camera price in the $100-$125 range if possible, and particular models that you suggest? And where is the best place to buy them? It would be awesome to use some verifocals in this price range. And some long range IR.

I'll be needing a 16 port POE switch also.

I used a calculator and it said at 15fps on 2MP/HD with 14 cameras to record 15 days of 24/7 recording, I would need a 6TB drive.

Thanks!!!
