I am originally planning on using the DH-IPC HFW2831TN-AS-S2 for indoor purposes and then i happen to stumble upon an article that says dome type dont perform well in terms of image quality when used outdoor (duh its ment to be used indoor). With that i wonder if its the same situation with the bullet type cameras, since they are ment to be for outdoor they might output inferior image quality to a similarly spec dome type.

If aesthetics / conspicuous is not a factor. Which would be better indoors?

What indoor application? A warehouse or store is a lot different than a 10x12 room in a home.

Kind of big and chunky for some spaces but the bullet will work fine indoors. There aren't the same sorts of inherent issues as with a dome design. IR may be a little much in a smaller area but you can turn that down if needed.
