I currently have a ezviz DB1 doorbell camera. I have it using the old style mechanical doorbell and transformer. It has worked since it first came out however the sun has destroyed the plastic and photo eye. What is out there now that would be a good replacement. I use blueiris. I would prefer not to have to change the current setup. Thanks

Although Reolink cams get little love on IPCT, their video doorbell is the exception.
I've had 2 of their Wi-Fi version (it's dual band) in service and streaming with no hiccups to Blue Iris for over 2 years now. They also make a POE version.
It should work on the same 12-24VAC transformer as your old one but not so sure about your old mechanical doorbell; it comes with a plug in, wireless chime.

Getting comfortable
I've got a Ring doorbell that I like but want to change it because of the £50 a year subscription for recordings. Already having a good Blue iris setup and home assistant, I'd like something that integrates with them both and is subscription/cloud free, would you say Reolink is a good choice and if so which model(s)?
Yes, I think the Reolink doorbell (non-battery) is an excellent choice.
The below info is found at Compare.
First, decide if you want POE or Wi-Fi (POE is best, IMO, if you can run the CAT-5e/6 cable). I've had 2 Wi-Fi versions streaming to BI since June of 2023.
Second, decide which aspect ratio you want: taller than wide for better package view (White) or wider than tall (Black) to cover more of the porch width. That will determine which color you order.
