I have a DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/SL that won't generate thumbnails attached to emailed face detection events, even though it once did. Some combination of the hikvision firmware updates seemed to have killed that capability.
So with the requirement being for a camera that will support the face alert smart event plus have a microphone (no intercom or other features necessary), does anyone have a favorite camera to install at the moment? I've had such mixed luck with Hikvision devices doing what they say they are supposed to that I'd like to go with something other people have had good experiences with.
