WT actual Fuck is going on?

This has been going on for over a month at various sites including military installations here and in the UK.

Surely this isn’t hard to figure out? I don’t like it this close to January…

Acts like massive Surveillance. Are they preparing something big before Trump takes office?

It's a street light and the arm is obscured except where I drew it in.

I saw it many times in my 31 year career working on traffic signals and street lights. I've also seen rain water coming out of a low pressure sodium street light appear to be flowing red-hot molten lava........nothing but water in a downpour.

These aren’t regular hobbyist DJI drones from Amazon, they are described as the size of a car. Only corporations or .gov can afford/access them.
Either the Feds are more incompetent than we can imagine, or they belong to the Feds.
It’s easy to blow it off to pranks, but it’s happening with frequency and over .mil sites.

My best theory is that they are US military, that there is some perceived threat, likely offshore, and they are surveillance drones

I completely agree with you bigredfish. Having come up thru the period of having to make our own quad-copters and such, an individual would have to sink quite a bit of money into this if they truly are the size of cars. It can be done...no doubt, but why?

I wouldn't think our military is that incompetent to let them swarm around their bases without shooting one down or figuring a way to capture or drop it?

So I think it has to be military.

Is it just my imagination but didn't the state of NJ or NJ Police commission their own drones like between 2020 and 2021 to monitor compliance with COVID closures and assembly restrictions? I seem to recall a news story at the time, saying they had been purchased from China, yada yada.....

Of course I cannot find anything on that now, it's all about the current crop of drones in NJ.

EDITED 12/11 @ 0636 CDT: FOUND IT!

Ignore the YT headline, where I linked it to begin (6:18) it is about the NJ drones in 2020. It brings to mind the old "you reap what you sow."

With trust in FBI competence at an all time low that doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Farmers use larger drones for all sorts of things, including crop spraying and heavy parts transport to field positions. See this video by Laura Farms.

Chinese national arrested after ‘drone flown over US air base’
A Chinese national has been arrested on suspicion of flying a drone to take photographs over a US Space Force base.

Federal police arrested Yinpiao Zhou on Monday after he was allegedly caught flying a drone over the Vandenberg Space Force Base, in California.

In a criminal complaint, the US Attorney’s Office said Mr Zhou flew a drone over the base and took photographs on Nov 30 – the same day it launched a rocket on behalf of the National Reconnaissance Office.
