Hi
I received a DS-2CD2032F-I from AMAZON that was on 5.3.0_150513 (11/2015) multi language.
Upgrade to
5.3.0_150814 (big error), after that does not work any more, just MIN-SYSTEM.
Downgraded to 5.2.5 and tried the hiktools 'patch' to change the language flag, confirmed that the language flag was changed from 2 to 1 in the firmware file.
Tried tftpserv.exe using the modified digicap, system update completed successfully !!
But camera still stuck on Chinese :(
Any advice???

Oh dear. I don't think upgrading it to 150814 actually makes any difference on that camera? But hey ho, damage done.

Send it back if the supplier didn't make you aware it was Chinese or couldn't update the firmware.

I spoke with the seller, he sent me by email a new firmware and now my camera is multi language again..
thanks.

Can you post the 5.3.0 multi language firmware they sent you?

Yeah tried that and it fixed the 3 2032-I but not the 2032F-I

Worked on all 3 2032-I models however no luck on the 2032F-I :-(. Also, it's all in Chinese now so hoping I can switch it to English at some point. Funny thing is my F model reports FW V4.0.8 Build 150401 and neither 5.2.5 or 5.3.0 will work.

Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this version of the v5.3.0 build 150513 firmware. Like you I upgraded to the 150814 build, not realising mine was a hacked chinese DS-2CD2032F-I20151014CCCHxxxxxxxxx camera. No matter which firmware I tried from the 'hikvisioneurope.com' site, it would not recover. After I tried yours, the camera finally accepted the firmware and using SADP I was able to activate it again. Pfew!

However, the camera is now in Chinese and there is no drop down box for any other languages. The javascript trick does not work either.

Encouraged, I tried the same build from hikvision.com again, but this time with the language changed using the Hiktools binary, and although the camera reported 'system updated', it would never show up in SADP...

Anything else I can try at this stage?
