Hello,
Since installing a bad update. I can not access my camera anymore.
I tested this topic: R0 / DS-2CD2x32 BrickfixV2 brick recovery and full upgrade tool - enhanced.

but the problem remains unchanged.
192.0.0.64 or 192.168.1.64 = time out

if ip is 192.168.1.64, SADPTool correctly displays the camera (v4.0.8) but this program also shows me time out

I need help

The indicated firmware revision of 4.0.8 suggests the camera is in the 'min-system recovery mode' that can be entered after incorrect firmware was applied.

Is this a China region camera (eg CCCH in the serial number)?
What exact firmware did you apply?

This tool is designed to recover from such problems, and to change the camera to allow full updates to EN/ML firmware. Many people have had good success with it.

Is this a China region camera (eg CCCH in the serial number)?

Before solving my problem, I applied English firmware. After the serial displayed :éCCRR
the camera I had bought in China and I insisted by wanting to install a European version

What exact firmware did you apply?

firmware : DS-2CD2132F Chinese to Eng mod FW 525

Now, I would like to install version 5.4.5 on my camera (Chinese version) and have the French language on it ?

Have you have completed the hex edit of the mtd6ro_mod file using the brickfixv2 method? Known as the 'enhanced mtd hack'.

If you have - the camera will be converted to English / Multi-language upgradeable and the 5.4.5 EN/ML firmware can be installed. But don't skip the versions in between 5.2.5 and 5.4.5, you need to install each major release.

I just realized that in the enhanced_mtd_hack.txt file of the tutorial my DS-2CD2132F-IS uses the code 1E98
Do I have to make the change?

You could safely go 5.2.5. -> 5.3.0 -> 5.4.0 -> 5.4.5

No - that's a slightly different model of camera, so has a different devType from the DS-2CD2132-I.

That suggests that all will be OK, and you can do the updates.
