DS-2CD2132F-IS and on board storage

Hello All
I purchased a few of these cameras DS-2CD2132F-IS with on board storage, I got a 64G SD card and installed it on one camera, I am trying set it up so the camera stores to it using NAS I been looking on how to set the path to The SD card, Can't find my answer yet, looking for ideas.

Hi Chewie,
I have the same model camera. There should be no need to set-up the on-board storage as NAS. You use the NAS function if you have remote storage installed on your network. You should just need to format the Micro SD card.

Goto:

"Configuration > Advanced Configuration > Storage Storage Management"

You should see the SD card (drive) shown in the list under "HDD Device List". Tick the box on the left and format the card. If the card is ok (formatted correctly) it will show as a "Normal" under "Status". You can then set-up "Events" to record to the SD card.

It should look like this, once formatted.
