DS-2CD2132F-IS Cannot P/T

Hello,

I recently purchased this DS-2CD2132F-IS off of Newegg.com, and found out after I tried updating the firmware that it was a Chinese region model. I was able to get the language back into English, but I am unable to use the PTZ buttons on the 'Live View' to adjust the camera. I can zoom if i click on the 'Enable e-PTZ' button, but I still cant P/T.

Is this a known issue?

Yes, to pan and tilt this model remotely you need a cellular connection and a good friend who is willing to hold the camera for you and move it as you tell him to.

That camera is a fixed Adjustment camera. You can pan and tilt it when you physically set it up, but not automatically as it has no motors in it.
