DS-2CD2142FWD-IS write to Nas without format Disk

Hi,

i have a DS-2CD2142FWD-IS and want that the Cam writes at Events to my Nas (Xpenology VM in Home Network).
Now the Cam wants to format my Disk! Is there no way without formating, because thats not possible.
I only want to write to this Disk, not format.

Ok, i think its only a translation issue. I testet Format and it dosn't format my Disk.
