DS-2CD2342 Removal of mounting base

Hi

Do i need a special tool to remove a DS-2CD2342 from its mounting base? I've just spent 30mins proding with a screwdriver but have given up. gggrrrr!

Please help!

You just have to be quite gentle with it, and especially not squeeze the outside ring.
If you look underneath, you will see some ribbed ramps that click it in place.
Stick a couple of fingers in the holes underneath, hold the outside ring gently, away from the ramps, and twist anticlockwise.

Calmed down. Tried again 10mins later and it just popped out :-D
