DS-2CD2342WD-I Barrel Distortion?

A have two brand new DS-2CD2342WD-I 2.8mm cameras, is this barrel distortion normal in the image?

it looks fairly normal for that type of lens at that distance.

Perfectly normal, especially with the 4MP stuff which is slightly more fish-bowled than the 3MP stuff.

That video ok as a rough guide but things aren't ever that simple. For 4MP I keep recommending 4mm over 2.8mm for outdoors. 2.8mm looks pretty but 4mm is usually better in most installs.

Thanks for the input. I just ordered a 4mm to compare. After finding a few 4mm videos online, I think the 4mm is the way to go.
