DS-2CD2342WD-I firmware update fails

Hi. I have the DS-2CD2342WD-I running fw V5.4.1 build 160525, I am trying to upgrade to 5.45 170124 but the best I get is the firmware upgrade popup stuck at 0% and after that update failed until I reboot the cam.

Am I missing something, it is a UK camera from Amazon direct not a marketplace seller.

There are regional variations in the firmware.

I don't believe there is any such region in Hikvision terms.
If it's a non-CN camera, this should be the correct firmware : DOWNLOAD PORTAL

Yeah that is the file I have, file hash matched the one I grabbed earlier and I tried that link on the off chance. Still no go on the update.

It didn't like my laptop, maybe the wifi was to blame but the file is updating via my home server.

Upgrade "WR" (in serial number) camera DS-2CD2342WD-I from 5.4.3 160902 to 5.4.5 170124 using the link above without issue! This fixed the "tearing", "streaking" or "smearing" at the bottom of the frame.
