It was all working absolutely fine until I upgraded the NVR firmware to V4.60.000 but I'm not sure if I can downgrade it. It's the first place to start but if the downgrade goes wrong I'm clueless.
Yes i was reading earlier today on another site some experiencing issues with the v4.60.00 though issues not as servere as you are discribing.
It is critical to update &/or backdate with the correct firmware version applicable to your device.
Most of the questions i asked you are in regard to identifying Authenticity & Origin of your NVR.
This is the first mention, in this thread that "You Upgraded" the firmware.
We are offering assistance to rectify issues, to do so information is needed .............
Can you tell us where you downloaded the firmware from & the procedure you did to update
Will also need you provide responses to the previous asked questions: 1 -2 - 3 (optional) - 5 - 6.
FYI - Im from Australia, firmware is Region Specific for us here. The current I-series FW version here is v4.40.017 build 210830
Out of curiosity I downloaded the available Release Notes from the EU Portal, from v4.40.017 build 201124 to present 4.60.000 to see the differences (note the build dates are 10 months apart) .................................. I was blown away!
I noticed heaps of additions that are not available here yet or rather not available for the I-series here, just the GUI interface alone has far more features. Unsure why that is, but it is, what it is ......... i would bet my left nut, installing the lastest (or any) firmware from the EU Portal, would surely cause issues, posiibly brick it
