Hi Guys,

I am running 7x DS-2CD2532(I)S Hikvision Mini domes and a DS-7608NI-E2. One of my cameras has appeared to give me some issues. It has been slowing down my camera network, and since I've logged into the smart switch to monitor the packet loss, I've noticed one of my cams is giving a large quantity of bad packets, around 7.5% back packets. I have tried a factory reset, but even without loading any of my configuration, it is still giving bad packets. As this camera came from China, I want to do everything I can before I contact the seller and try to claim warranty. I know it is a particular camera as my switch allows packet monitoring and its clearly the culprit as seen here.

Camera firmware is V5.2.5 build 141201

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom can you give.

Josh

Note: Here is a basic map of my setup so far. Pretty basic as far as setups go and max cable length is around 13m (approx 40ft).
I know if I were do it over, I'd just buy a POE gigabit switch.....

Most likely a wiring problem.
Crosstalk, interference, incorrect pairing.
Can you run a temporary cable to evaluate the difference?
If you swap the cameras, does the bad packet count transfer with it?
