DS-2CD2532F-I recently displays very dark vid

My DS-2CD2532F-I suddenly has a very dark color. the screenshot below will be an example. i can adjust the brightness which helps, but if i adjust the brightness all the way i am thinking the pic at night via onboard IR will be crappy. any suggestions as to how to fix this are appreciated.

Is is probably caused by the umbrella, move it and check again.

Yep, umbrella.

Turn gain up instead of brightness and see if that helps a bit
