DS-2CD3345-I day/night switch

I have a DS-2CD3345-I on v5.3.6. The camera is used indoors, left side usually well lit (kitchen, closer) and right side is farther and not lit usually (livingroom). I don't really want to set day/night switch to manual. At default settings a lot of times 3/4 of the view is somewhat bright, with the exception of the 1/4 on the right side. Is there any setting that can make day mode more preferred?

I am not sure how BLC works. WDR does nothing but introducing more noise in night mode.
