hi, i recently had a container coming from china so I purchased 15ish Hikvision cameras, specifically this model (translated using Google Chrome):

A few questions:

1. All of these are running the chinese firmware, is this the latest version or are there international/english firmwares which are newer and possibly with more features?
2. I have enabled motion detection on a few of these cameras. Looking at instructions online, they show a grid that could be configured. This way the motion could be pinpointed to a specific area. I cannot find the grid option anywhere and it only lets me manually draw the motion area. Is there any way to get the grid?
3. I have these cameras added to HomeAssistant temporarily, apparently there are 3 possible streams available from the camera: main stream, sub stream, main stream (event), transcoded stream. I understand main and sub streams, what are the event and transcoded streams?
4. Is there any way to highlight motion in any stream? I have a few reolink cameras and they are able to draw a square around the motion they detect. This would help me pinpoint what keeps setting off the motion alarm.

Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks!

Go to your WebUI for the camera, Go to Setup, Event, then Motion or what ever your version would have it setup for the event you are working with. In that window where you would setup to draw your grid in that window on top or bottom again depending on where and how your camera is coded there should be an option that says "Enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion" . Should help with your Motion detection area while in live view to help know where the motion is coming from.

Check if the camera has the Local | Enable Rules option in the web GUI.
thanks for the feedback., This shows the motion in the webui but not on the actual streams. Is there any way to get the motion on the actual main/sub/event streams?

thanks, this helped me see where the motion was happening but I still don't have the grid. I can only draw lines to make shapes for detection areas.

The grid i am talking about is shown in this video:

any support on the other questions would be greately appreciated as well. Thank you everyone!
