Hi guys,

I just received this camera and set it up using browser and then set it up in iVMS-4200.
Next I want to add some security and enabled "HTTPS browse" option which should force you to https connection only.
Unfortunatelly I can't access any settings of this camera from now. Simple connect to port 80 redirects me to 443 and this ends with error connection timeout in about 30 sec. Same is with iVMS remote configuration.
I can connect to stream and use PTZ because i set it up before and is probably using RSTP or port 8000.
Also I can access it with SADP tool but this only lets me change IP address or reset password which I know.
Can anyone help me how to reset this camera to default or remove that force HTTPS setting?
There is no physical reset button and no information about reset in manual.

Thanks

Thanks for you reply.
I was little bit quicker and disassembled the camera and found there is actualy a reset button inside which reset the camera to default.
It wasn't easy because I didn't found any howto on this model a didn't want to break any plastic pieces or lost wateproofing...
What I don't understand now, why there even exist remote password reset with Hikvision support which is too compliated or a tool on this forum to reset password when it's just simple as open the camera a hit the button? :)

There is a big difference between something mechanical that can be done when you have physical access to a device, and a network-oriented method which can be done at a distance, potentially by an attacker.
And if the camera is in use and mounted, or remote - it may be difficult or impractical to physically access and dismantle it.

Ahh, yes .. I didn't thnk about coporate/business use ... I just have one camera on the table :) Makes sense..
