Hi!

I have recently installed Hikvision IP cameraes with an NVR supporting 4 cameraes (DS-7604NI). I have a problem watching live-view of the cameraes. In splitscreen it works fine, but when I try to click on each camera I get unsupported stream type.

Any idea of why this message comes up on every camera?

And do anyone know which settings, and where this settings is in the menu on my NVR, to make this problem dissapear?

Looking forward to answers...

Hey @Suprcrew, what resolution is each camera set at for main stream? You can find this info under main menu->camera->parameters (sometimes labeled audio/video) on the left. Resolution should be listed on the right.

What's the current firmware on your cameras and NVR?

Hey @RyanODan

Thanks for your answer. I managed to fix ig by changing from H265, to H264+.
My two dome-cameraes (same type) connected but the other one (DS-2CD2635F-IS) wont even show up on the screen. Is it possible to delete the camera (ie nr 3) for "new installation"?

Thanks for your help!

As I try to change values in the paramteres for this camera, I only get the message "Operation failed. This function is not supported by the camera".

In the camera menu, the status on this camera is "The network is unreachable"

@Suprcrew It sounds like it can't find the camera on your network or there's a problem with that camera. Is it plugged into POE port 3 on the back of the NVR?

Also, disable any H.264+ or H.265+ settngs, they cause more problems when enabled and don't help the system out much.

@ROHIT KUMAR SINGH Please answer my questions below:

1. What resolution is each camera set at for main stream? (You can find this information under main menu->record->parameters (sometimes labeled audio/video) on the left. Resolution should be listed on the right.)

and on that same menu...

2. What's the bit rate value each camera is set at? (2048, 4096, 8192 are a few examples)

lastly...

3. What's the firmware version on the NVR and cameras?

Whats the model number of recorder?
