trying to set up DS-7604NI-E1/4P NVR cat6 for POE to camera I have cat5e directly into router/moden (Att) hdmi to monitor.

Installed 1GB HDD. I can view camera, Some how I have EZVIZ working and view camera on android phone.

DS-2CD2032F-IW Camera, had it wireless before I bought NVR after connecting to POE it seems wireless is turned off.

On front of NVR power light green, status light is off and about every 5 seconds blinks red, Tx blinking like ether port.

SADP sees camera and 2nd wireless camera haven't run poe to it yet. I can not login to the nvr or wireless camera with Firefox like I did.

iVMS displays both cameras NVR only sees wired camera.
First time doing this.
changed ports to 8001 and 81 . thought I opened ports 81 and 8001 in router.
Open port scanner http://www.canyouseeme.org/ tells me "Error: I could not see your service on 64.108.116.86 on port (81) or 8001
ipconfig :
Ethernet adapter Ethernet:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.122
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254

Reason: Connection refused

make it easy for yourself. if you are in the same network as the nvr. unplug everything else . (both cameras) . then just start to try to get in to the NVR. . even for some strange reson you don´t see it with sadp or similar . try to connect to it manually
or install "fing" exis at least for android . handy thing ( prob does the same as your sadp tool. )

let me know if it worked out

Have cameras working with wifi 12V barrel power.

I copied the email information from one camera to the second and when I test I get
"if the server use domain name, and didn't configure the DNS the domain name may be invalid

What is it telling me?

Also when connecting a camera to a NVR is the ip address static or DHCP? Do the cameras need to reset to factory settings with power off and button. to connect to NVR after being set up wifi and no NVR?

3. Can a wifi camera DS-2CD2032F-IW be connecter POE to NVR AND wireless to wireless router at the same time?

I now can see both cameras and NVR in SADP.

I don't have any wireless camera. But would you want it to be connected to two networks? Or it was just a question?. What dns is specified in the camera and the nvr?

Just a question, but would like to have wifi as backup. DNS is Google 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 trying DHCP to see if that works.

To be serious. I doubt that you ever had or heard of a failure like that and that the wireless would save you? but hey if it works, why not. Btw. Did you want port 81 and 8001 to go to the nvr or to a camera? If the camera is connected to the nvr you'll need to set up a static route for it as well in the router to the nvr

Set everything back to 80 and 8000 trying dhcp on nvr can't send motion emails getting not connected to network and I am connected.

setup exactly as wifi camera 2 not connected to nvr. I don't know what to check.

Do I need a static ip address for the NVR and any attached (POE) cameras?

I have enable port mapping enabled under NAT with default ports ... is that correct?

You don't need static route specifically for the nvr. That one should work fine on its own.

What is TFTP is that where you log in through firefox? Where would I get firmware?

current firmware: v3.4.1 build 160114
encoding version v5.0 build 151120
web version v4.0.1 build 151120
plugin version 3.0.5.43

from ebay china with english firmware updateable.

You'll never need to use tftp if you don't fuck up something

Check under firmware here in the nvr forum. There is the link to where you can download it. Or on hikvision webpage. Just be sure to use the one for your nvr. Then copy it to a USB stick. Plug it in. Then choose the file in the update or maintenance menu or what it's called on your nvr

I tried updating firmware and must have used the wrong file.
When I try to tftp I get error.

NVR is DS-7604 Ni-E1/4P
Why am I getting error? Followed Instructions: 1. put the firmware under the same folder of this TFTP
2. set the IP of computer as 192.0.0.128
3. power on the DVR/DVS/IPC, the device will go for the PC to search the new firmware and upgrade automatically when find it.
4. DVR/DVS/IPC will restart automatically after being upgraded.
5. Shut the TFTP down before the camera power on again.

What is the correct firmware for english bought on ebay?

Your PC is not using the required 192.0.0.128 IP address.
If you check your tftp updater screenshot - it's using 'localhost' on 127.0.0.1
Do you have WiFi enabled, is the PC wired to your router / switch?
