DS-7608NI-K2 thumbnail preview - NO RESOURCE

Hi,

When trying to playback single camera on Hikvision NVR and move mouse pointer on timeline a row of thumbnails preview appears as NO RESOURCE and whole screen starts to lag and freeze until mouse is moved out of timeline zone.

Anyone has this problem ? How can it be fixed ?

Are your camera's higher then 3MP?

I spoke to one of the Hik tech supports about this - I have the 7616NI-I2 (has a little more grunt then the K series) and also get this.

Results of the conversation - any camera above 3MP the recorder is unable to decode and make the preview pics is the offical line, for me it would be better to disable the feature as to customers it just looks broken (try explaining why some camera's have a preview and others don't).

I did ask, apparently not - half baked feature from hik imo.
