DS-7608NXI-K2/8P vs DS-7608NXI-I2

Hi,

I am about to be IP cameras and decided to go with DS-2CD2T83G2-4I

however the NVR is confusing DS-7608NXI-K2/8P vs DS-7608NXI-I2

according to spec's.

The I2 decode 8ch 1080p
while K2 3ch 4k.

any idea is the I2 can decode 8MP

im running a nxi-k2 8p and working perfect with 8mp and 4mp cameras here - i think the main difference is these have accusense capability and the i2 has more incomming and outgoing network bandwidth

I'm planning on getting nxi-k2 to add acusense capability to existing hikvision cameras. I'm mainly interested in Human motion detection alerts during scheduled times. Currently, intrusion detection on current cameras triggers by cats & leaves. As per NXI-K2 datasheet, it supports Motion Detection 2.0 by Device (Human & Vehicle detection) on all channels (4MP). I do have all 4MP cameras. Do you think it will work for me needs? and is it accurate in classifying Humans?
