We had a Mallord duck build a nest in our front yard. The yard is landscaped with native vegatation. In prior years we have had turkey nests.

Here's the fancy mount I rigged :
Unfortunately she was hit by a car a day later. The male hung around for most of a day and finally flew off after a neighbor disposed of the body (I was out of town at the time). We recovered eight eggs, which we hatched and turned the ducklings over to a local wildlife agency.
