Electrical components (cameras and related) inside walls/ceilings?

I'm trying to figure out what the rules are as far as placing electrical (low voltage) components inside walls to hide them?

For example, the Ubiquiti AI Theta camera has a small pinhole style camera with a "hub" that's connected via USB-C. The hub is powered with PoE. The photos on their site show the hub hidden behind some drywall or hidden the ceiling.

Is this a permissable way to hide small low-voltage electrical components? It seems sketchy to me, since there is still some small risk that those components catch fire (or get hot enough to ignite the insulation).

The Ubiquiti AI Theta cameras can flush mount into drywall surfaces but the hubs have to be located where you can physically access them, so you can't bury them inside walls, but they can be up to 30M away from the camera.
