Hi

I'm not able to setup an email notification. I'm getting a "wrong password" error message... In the past, I remember it was working... I tried with gmail smtp. Do you have also the same problem?

Hello,

I am receiving a similar error - 'User name or password is wrong'. I have logged into the email account and have verified the password. I am using a gmail account with port 465, smtp.gmail.com, with SSL enabled.

I am using a DS-2CD2032-I bullet cam.

I have successful ping of smtp.gmail.com and DNS and Default GW of camera is set to the router Default GW IP address.

Greatly appreciate any help in resolving this.

I have tried yahoo and outlook email addresses but failed for other reasons.

Change gateway to 8.8.8.8 instead of your routeur ip.
