EmpireTech 10th Anniversary (Summer+Prime Day)Sales

Congrats on 10 years! I'm ready to lose the rigged lottery again.
Exactly, I just made another donation to Andy! LOL!

You buy one or more tickets, then sit glued to the computer the day the winners are posted, and end up with either an up day, or a down day. Andy posts the prize list before the lottery, and how many tickets will be issued. You can number crunch your odds of winning and see either how much you'll gain if you win a prize, or lose if you don't. If you win a camera, you got a great deal, with the risk of it being a model that isn't a good fit for you. The winning numbers are random, except with one forum member (you know who you are!) whose numbers are programmed to never win ;)

Yep, I will shortly purchase my tickets to improve the odds of winning for the rest of you :lmao:

Hey guys

Just update the sales price on 1st posting, and the lottery tickets 2 days almost sell 50%. Thanks for joining us!

Andy

I'm ready to upgrade to a 16-ch NVR.

On the new products list (apart from the number of channels) it's unclear what features are the same, or different, from my Empiretech NVR8CH-8P-2AI

Max. decoding capability: 32 × 1080p@30 fps or 8 × 8MP@30 fps.
Max. 384/384/384 Mbps incoming/recording/outgoing bandwidth
Supports IP cameras with a resolution up to 32 MP
Supports AcuPick with up to 8 channels
Supports N+M cluster, iSCSI
AI by Recorder
AI by Camera
Supports EPTZ, and one-click arming and disarming

Also, am I reading correctly that Dahua/Empiretech has switched from a Linux-based OS to a Microsoft-based OS?

Thanks.
