Hey guys

The tariffs come to 145% for all China Made products TODAY, this make all of our sea shipping cancelled. Because if ship out now, arrive at the desitnation will effect with 145% on. I see lots of news say adding the cost now, but we will not do this till the last. I am trying to be stable for our community till we use up the stocks without this 145%. I think we can stand with 30days.
Current small shipment via fedex from China to US under 800usd still no tariffs till May.2nd.

This crazy change is for the US market only. But who knows when will delay/cancel the tariffs.
Thanks for your attention.

Andy

Must be "interesting" times for businesses like you right now..to put it mildly...

Andy did you think about opening shop in EU zone?

I known that this forum is mostly US, People from other countries are minority here.

But Dahua in Europe is BIG. In many countries (like in Poland) bigger that HIK (installers likes more Dahua to HIK due local support and less problems with those).
Official MSRP (non dealer) prices here for Dahua are crazy (like 5442-ZE for 600-700 USD) and most resellers / shops / installers do only low lines (analog, 1xxx-3xxx)..

By doing shop with prices in EURO and one warehouse location somewhere in central EU you have access to 27 EU countries without extra duties/fees/taxes/problems etc..
There are small VAT (which You must add to final price) variations between countries, but each modern web shop supports this..
It's one big open market inside and it's normal here to order something from shop in other EU country (because there is no duties, fast delivery and invoices from one EU country works in other EU countries as local ones)...

He sort of did; Andy has a Amazon.de store: Amazon.de
But not much in stock though...

Personally; I would love it if we could buy from his online store directly instead of email. But in the end; for us EU customers it wouldn't make a big difference I think.
When you buy from Andy, you know the price.
As for import costs; you might get lucky, you might not. (at least here in The Netherlands)
When I won camera's from his lottery; FedEx came with a small cost a couple days after delivery (Around €10 for 1 camera).

And as for shipping time; like I mentioned before in this topic; the last shipment to here took only 2 days; basically as fast, if not faster than when I buy from locally or from other countries within the EU.

I wonder if the " electronics" being removed from Tariffs...would include cameras.
