5 Series will keep the currently fw, web5.0 we are still evaluate if add to it or not.

The latest firmware which was released around aug 23, 2022 for 5442 and than told the same firmware will work for 5842.

I got a IPC-B5442E-SE from Andy last Oct. My FW is dated Jul 29,2021. Is the lates one the one you have dated Aug23, 2022?

No plan due for this camera. Function no difference on the web5.0 just looks like beautiful.

We now also put the firmware all to one file, this would be easier for customer to find the FW.

no that fw is for the PTZ, SD means speed dome ptz, i will check for you tomorrow if have any new fw.
