Hi Guys,

I have been using my Hi Look NVR with 4 third party PTZ ip cameras for over a year now. I set up the presets for the cameras using the PTZ software before connecting them to the NVR. This then enables the cameras to work with their presets when connected to the NVR. However, whenever i attempt to set presets from the Hi Look interface on the web, it doesn't allow for presets to be made and then disables the presets made from the cameras own interface.

is there anything i need to do to allow me set up presets from the Hi Look interface

Probably a compatibility issue between brands.

It is best to match brand of camera and NVR for full compatibility.

Even though they may all be ONVIF compliant doesn't mean everything will work.

Even if the brands matched, general rule of thumb is to do any camera configuration within the camera GUI and not the NVR.
