Hello,

I'm having a problem. I'm trying to connect a dahua VTH and VTO, but at the end of the process, I get an error message: Error in the environment.
I've already updated the VTO, but I can't update the VTH because, unlike the VTO, it doesn't appear in the config tool.

I can't solve this problem. Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Thank you

models of devices?
The monitor is VTH2421FB(W)-P IP Indoor Monitor and the other is VTO2211G-WP IP&WIFI Villa Door Station.
Now that I've updated the VTO and haven't been able to update the VTH, the VTO no longer appears in the VTH configuration. It's no longer detectable. I've tried connecting it directly to the computer via a network cable and it has appeared in configtool, but every time I try to update it gives a connection error and doesn't complete the update.

Are both devices in the same subnet as your computer? I have come across this a few times on older VTO/VTH. Not really on the newer products like what you have. Are both products showing in Config Tool when connected to Switch? Is Extend Mode turned on, on the switch? Turn that off if you have it. You can use Config Tool to configure both devices together.

yes, they are both on the same subnet. both are 192.168.1.xxx. I only detected the VTO in configtool, only if I directly connect the VTH to the computer via a network cable does this also appear for me in configtool, otherwise not. I also can't access the VTH's web IP and in the configtool it appears that there is no associated web, unlike the VTO.

VTH has no web service. That is normal. In Config Tool, click search setting at the top, click other segment search. Ensure subnet is 192.168.1.1-255. I would probably factory default both devices, key is getting both devices to show in Config Tool first.

I've already done this and it still doesn't appear in the configtool. but I think I need to update the VTH to be able to configure between the two, but I can't. Am I using the wrong firmware? I got the product page

Also please provide version of your VTH firmware. The GUI of the VTH has changed recently, you might need to apply an older version of firmware before proceeding to the latest
