I cannot seem to add a new Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I (4 MP). I get Error: 8007000e () 0 in the video. Find/Inspect won't recognize it. If I manually add it as a Hikvision DS-2CDXXXX, I still get the error. The camera works fine via a browser.

Anybody know what that error means? Is there a list of error codes somewhere? Any idea what is going on here? Other things to try?

After hours of frustration, I rebooted the BI server, now all seems fine. Go figure. I hate Windows.

I guess a reboot was not the fix - the same error keeps coming back. The other error I get is "Network: signal retry" - but this only happens with this one camera. A reboot of BI can get the camera up, but then BI acts flakey - slow, clicks don't work, etc. Does BI not like certain cameras?

My setup is an i5-2500K 3.3GHz, 4G RAM, 32 bit Win 7; I have 16 cameras ranging from 0.3 to 3 MP at 10 fps; BI runs fine at about 40% CPU and 1.4 G RAM - without the new 4 MP cam. Is my system just to wimpy to add this 4 MP camera? When I do manage to get the picture up, CPU and RAM only go up slightly so I assume I'm fine, nevertheless it seems to bog down BI and I get nothing from most of my cams when remote viewing. Any insight?

Hi,
I've got the same error,
Got a working BI in a VM (Proxmox) with
i3 8100
16GB of ram
It is working but when I want to install a new 4MP cam i've got the memory Error : Error: 8007000e () 0
But I've got
2 4MP cams
1 1MP cam
1 2MP cam
3 5MP cams
The logs report that it is working at 650MP/s
And with these cams CPU is about 20% and ram is 2.71GB and the Task Manager reports that I'm using 30% of my memory.
So why have I got this problem?
Thank you
Jules
