Error NVR DAHUA NVR608-64-4K "Decode Not Enable"

hi guys, i am new here, and i need your help, i just bought a NVR Dahua NVR608-64-4k and the first thing i did was to install the HD and turn ON.
Then appears a black screen and the message "DECODE NOT ENABLE" and a long 3 beeps.
Anyone knows to solve it?

Did you by chance unplug one of the fans? Hardware changes will do this sometimes. See this ---> Decode Not Enable

Did you try the NVR before you installed the HD ? If you unplug the HD does it boot?

Yes, I tried to disconnect the HD, nothing happened, same error.

I found out that to configure the NVR, I must put a monitor VGA.
This error Decode not Enable is occurring because of HDMI cable connection.

Hi friend, you must first put a vga monitor and if you want put the HDMI cable too.
Then you configure monitor as you want hdmi 1 or HDMI 2 check box.
You won't have problems if you enter in the main menu.

As @kibe said, you need to connect a monitor via VGA cable to avoid the Decode Not Enable error. The default resolution on a NVR608-xx-4ks NVR is set to 1080p. You can change it to whatever you want once the NVR is booted up, by going into the DISPLAY settings.
