We have a 13 camera system at work. ExacqVision is our DVR system on the back end. All cameras are set to record at H.264 to conserve space. Sadly, 13 cameras all recording at H.264 is taxing our CPU. When I look at the CPU usage, it shows only 1 core being hammered at 100% constantly. Is this software really not multi-core capable?
That's a shame if it isn't. It's a system I inherited when I took this new position, so maybe it's time to dump it if this is the case.
