The option to choose between DAV and MP4 when backing up through the NVR seems to have disappeared in the latest NVR firmware (at least in the web UI) so I backed up the dav file and opened smart player to try and export in there and there is no option for mp4. I then tried to export the dav file to AVI and it just hangs!
Ultimately, I would love to export to MP4 but I will live with AVI for now if I have to. What do I need to do to convert to one of these file formats??
