Is there a trick to exporting a triggered event when my cameras record 24/7? The export/convert option is disable when I right click on an alert in the alert list.

You cant export an alert because its simply a pointer to the video...you can
1) click on the alert to bring up the clip, drag the green and red markers to mark the beginning or end of the video and hit the export button.
or
2) select clips from the dropdown, find the clip and export the entire clip.

I gathered as much. I wish there was a way to have the green/red markers aligned to a clip so I could export the segment that corresponds to the clip easily. Since the entire clip is usually long compared to the small section I want to export, I find its a pain to drag the markers around to the right spot. Even being able to set their position using a typed time would be helpful.
