Exporting video looks like its playing at 1fps

Trying to export a video from blue iris when playing back in vlc its as though it is using the substream instead of the main recording How do I export the main?

What version of BI are you using? I’m sure I read here where people reported that the export would be the substream but that was fixed with later versions. I’m on the latest and I exported clips just last week and it was fine for me.

The stable version which is 5.3.1.6 "just tried the latest stilling doing it" although the original video plays fine.

Also now something strange has happened I went to export used tickbox substream if available and tick box 2 pass for fast opening now the video is corrupted!

update Actually I think I have overwritten the original file that stored on the hard by selecting replace instead of creating a new file? Is that correct it deletes the original .bvr and in its place puts the .mp4
