exposing cams to the net

I was wanting to let a family member watch my house while i'm gone for a month. What do i need to do to keep this safe? Should I use team viewer? I know i'm asking a lot and am sorry! But this is something i don't have a clue about!:sad2:

If you are forwarding blue iris now, just give them access to blue iris, set up a non admin user account...
