Face recognition - Storage/database

Hi,

I have a Dahua NVR5216 with some for me new HDW4631-A, the add said face recognition, but I cant get it to work at all. Is there some "walk thru" or guide I could follow to get this technique to work?

How I would like it to work is that every human who is passing thru my cameras should end up in the NVR database with a picture, is that possible?

The camera and the NVR BOTH must support AI.
That camera does not have AI ability.

face detection isn't the same as AI face recognition. It is easy to get tricked by the wording

Ok, so I finally got my HDW5442TM-AS-LED cameras today. I still have the Dahua NVR 5216, think I have read all the internet tutorials to be able to catch some faces in a database in the NVR but nothing works.

Should this camera HDW5442TM-AS-LED work with face recognition and get some faces into the library database NVR5216 somehow?

Under AI option there is under Paramters - Face recognition and I cant put enable on the cameras from there.

I think that's because the camera dont support face recognition.
