Failed to Connect -- Away from home

So for some reason my cameras stopped loading on my (android - gDMSS Plus) phone (fail to connect - or similar message).

I have the SN of the NVR noted down, so I deleted the camera and tried to re-add it. The system won't allow it, saying I must be on the same home network as the NVR. I am away from home now for a few days.

NOTE: A family member (also away from home - with me) can still view the cam on his phone without any problems.

Any ideas?

turn wifi off. use 4G?? there is a spot somewhere in the app where you select "always use without wifi" check box. AND There is also a new app called DMSS.

Is that new app better than gdmss plus?

I removed gdmss and installed dmss, still won't connect to cams. If I go off wifi the system forces me to use wifi, but still no difference.

I then get message "make sure you mobile phone and device are connected to the same network"
