Getting the hang of it
I've got six 2355's attached POE to an I-series NRV. I've spent a good amount of time tweaking the smart events (intrusion and line crossing, don't use motion) so that I am nearly false alert free. The one thing still dogging me is that I get line/intrusion detection on two cameras at dusk and dawn every day. Reviewing the video it seems that those two cameras do a quick "blink" when the IR kicks on and off, which is interpreted as an event. The reason I think this is IR related is that the other four cams that do not have this problem all have ambient lighting at night.
I've worked on the smart even sensitivity with no luck. I've gone into the camera settings and worked on the "Day/Night Switch" sensitivity and filtering time settings but things have not improved - maybe I don't understand those settings well enough.
Is there a settings-based solution to this problem?
