i have all Dahua setup

DHI-NVR4216-16P-4KS2 running the latest firmware
System VersionV4.001.0000005.1, Build Date: 13-07-2021

And when IP CAM's automatically switch from night mode to day mode will often trigger a false video tampering alarm

Any ideas howto solve the false alarms ?

Even if you have disabled that feature in the cam's webGUI?

Is there any way to control the sensitivity of the alarm or is it a simple on or off choice?

Edit: how bright is it when your camera switches from night to day?
If it's quite bright you could try adjusting the change over to occur before it gets so bright but still bright enough to no longer be in night mode.

Perhaps a workaround is to set the Video Detection Period to ignore the timeframe it switches to day mode.

nah, that won't work either, as cars drive down the street at anytime during the night, which switches the IP CAM from night mode to day mode for a minute or 2.

Are you running the cameras on default/auto settings?

If you have dialed them in then it shouldn't be doing that.

OR force the night profile into B/W instead of auto.
