I recently installed a Hikvision DS-7608NI-SE(8)P NVR and a mix of 2032 and 2332 cameras brought from the U.S. and China. All is working well, no real issues. I can't seem to figure out how to reduce the number of false triggers when using motion detection. I've tried using less of those red motion boxes but it really doesn't do that much in cutting down the large number of emails I'm getting. I finally abandoned the motion/email feature and just record continuously on all cams. I read a brief description somewhere about creating some horizontal line that reduced false motion detection but have no idea where or how to use it.
Can anybody tell me what this line is and how to implement it on my system or maybe just tell me how to reduce false triggers.
