FedEx rarely reads and complies with any special requests or instructions in my account's "Delivery Manager":
- You have "deliver at front door", they'll drop it on the side door where it's visible from the street and exposed to rain.

Yeah you would think common courtesy would be followed considering it's a paid extra service and the value of the item being delivered and the fact that porch pirates are rampant ...
