FEMA is Worthless and the US Government is a Fucking Joke

In regard to North Carolina, I have not seen much from the Governor in this fiasco. For the most part, he seems to be missing in action.

The former governor, Roy Cooper, a Democrat, was in office January 1, 2017 – January 1, 2025; the current governor, Josh Stein, also a Democrat, assumed office Jan. 1, 2025.

Hence the reason for the famous quote ‘Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.’ This can also apply to defining stupidity. I'm referring to electing another Democrat or re-electing the incumbent after the one you had did little if anything to help your situtation. You won't know if doing something different will work if you NEVER try it.

A perfect example is Kalifornia....they had a chance to rid themselves of Gavin Newsom but no, they did not. And things in CA are worse than ever. They got EXACTLY what they asked for.....but I'm not including you, @Parley and some others who have made it clear in the past where they stand.

While the nation's eyes are on the Palisades Fire, thousands of families are homeless, either spending cold nights in makeshift shelters, campers, tents, or, if they're lucky, hotels and motels paid for by FEMA.



However, Fox News reported, "FEMA began notifying some families checked into hotel or motel rooms that they are no longer eligible for the program due to one of the following reasons: an inspection indicated their home is now habitable, they declined an inspection or FEMA has been unable to contact them to update their housing needs."

While the countries eyes are on CA, the situation in WNC deteriorates. Where is @FEMA!? We need to get some eyes on this! These are fellow Americans! x.com

Local media outlet WLOS reported that more than 5,600 households were staying in hotel or motel rooms paid by FEMA (as of one week ago).
