Few questions

I have a color 4K-T
Firmware is V3 120.0000000.2.R
Build Date: 2022-10-21

Compared to my newer S3 5442's which everything is great, this one added to my POE NVR5208-8P-EI / NVR8CH-8P-2AI works fine
but using the blue IE tab to access the camera, my account on the camera page shows as temporary followed by random numbers? So I logout and log back in, then it says admin like my others.
Ended up using the plugin to view the S3 5442 cameras after exhausting all efforts of different browsers recommended
With this 4K-T, I can see the camera on the NVR GUI but not on the camera's gui, plus the issues with the temp account.
Would a firmware upgrade fix this?

We DM'd a bit and I told him I've never seen the Temp account before?

I dont change it for fear of screwing it up. It actually works pretty well

I have the temp account on one camera when logging in with IE. No clue why, but... I just log out then right back into the camera.
If you do that, can you see the live cam picture on the web page? If not, can you d/l a new file web gui? If not, I would check your browser for the files the Dahua cams web gui, and try deleting.

For some reason the old web gui files and the new ones sometimes interfere with each other. It's a real pain the rear to figure it out at times.

My 4k-T180 is firmware 3.140.00000000.21 2024-05-14. Works well for me.

I don't have the 180 just 4K turret, seems I'm running older version than you Big red.
I do the same logout and log back in, but still don't see camera on camera web page, just NVR web page.
As far as D/L a new file web gui, I;m lost might have to be more descriptive on how-to

Working 12 hour days so it’s hard for me to respond often, if I deleted the Dahua camera files without updating my firmware would it just put the same files back on. I think I need to update my firmware with no idea how to, I know where to find them on Andy‘s page but do you download onto the camera from the camera GUI and each individual file one at a time resetting four times after each download like someone suggested.
I appreciate everybody’s help

You could update the 4T FW, I doubt it will change much but you may get rid of the Temp acct thing

Completely understand the long working hour days. Been there.

First, which browser are you using? I'll give an example on firefox. If you go into the settings, at top right, there will be a listing for add-ons, then plug-ins. If you look under plug-ins there will be listings for the Dahua web gui. If using internet explorer, then it has the same type of listing.

This, btw, gets downloaded from the camera itself when you first install it. I know there is a thread about this somewhere around here. Maybe it was @wittaj
